Different Modes Usage Guide
Input Mode
By typing the current sentence in the input box, when the entire sentence is entered correctly, the video automatically plays to the start of the next sentence.
By participating in practice, you can familiarize yourself with sentence structure, grammar, and strengthen word memory. Compared to just watching without practicing, the effect is obvious.
Selection Mode
If your goal is to learn English, you can set it like this:
- Set the top subtitle to English
- Set the bottom translation to your native language
- You can also reverse the position for learning, setting method 👉See Translation Settings
The translation sentence below is a jumbled word, please rearrange it into a correct sentence to test your sentence-making ability and understanding ability.
After completing the selection, the video automatically plays to the start of the next sentence.
Listening Mode
In listening mode, the video will first automatically play to the end of this sentence, and you need to fill in the input box based on what you hear.
This is very helpful for practicing listening. In listening mode, the sentence is blurred and hidden, and when you input correctly, the result will be fed back in real time.
Voice Mode
Currently, voice mode may not be available on some browsers, and the accuracy is limited. We will consider integrating AI voice recognition functionality in the future.
This mode requires first authorizing microphone permissions, then clicking start recording, and after recording is completed, the results are automatically recognized.
Cloze Mode
This mode is designed to make it easier for you to participate in learning, and you can choose different difficulty levels based on your language level.
It will select words that may be unfamiliar or need to be learned at your current level based on the difficulty you set.
This mode requires configuring your private AI key before use. Currently, domestic AI uses free models by default, and you can also choose paid models from different manufacturers according to your needs.
